To Our Current and Prospective Sponsors:

Founded in 1966, the Miss Klamath County program is a local preliminary competition under the Miss America brand. We are a *501(c)(4) nonprofit organization providing young women, ages 14-28, from Klamath (and surrounding counties) the opportunity to develop public speaking and interview skills, participate in community service work, compete to become a titleholder, receive mentorship and networking opportunities, showcase their talent, build confidence and earn scholarships for school.

The Miss America Opportunity has been one of the leading providers of scholarships to young women worldwide since the 1940s, and The Women’s Scholarship Foundation of Klamath County has given away over $100,000 in scholarships and in-kind donations of our own since 2022 alone! Our local program also offers every participating delegate a guaranteed scholarship, whether she places or not. None of this would be possible, however, without the help and support of our community and sponsors.

As a volunteer board of directors, we have a passion to, as our motto states, “Empower women to lead with purpose.” The success of our organization, as well as that of those participating, requires us to rely on the generosity of others to sustain this positive impact in our community. Your donations and sponsorships directly allow young women to gain personal and professional skills while building successful futures for themselves without added (or for some, ANY) financial burden.

You can become, or continue giving as a sponsor by:

  • Funding scholarships that remove financial barriers for our delegates and titleholders

  • Donating in-kind goods, services or support

  • Giving to our Legacy Scholarship as a former Miss or Teen titleholder

  • Creating a custom partnership that aligns with your personal, business and/or community goals
