Heidi Gaither

Board Member

Born and raised in Klamath Falls, Heidi Gaither grew up as a part of the Miss America Organization, participating as a “Little Sister,” Teen and Miss contestant. She later volunteered as a contestant hostess for several years, and now serves as a member of the Women’s Scholarship Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Utilizing the scholarship dollars earned from competing as a part of the Miss America Organization, Heidi graduated Cum Laude from Oregon Tech with a Bachelors degree in Applied Psychology, with emphases in Organizational Development and Human Services, also earning a minor in Human Communication. Heidi then attended Portland State University, graduating with honors with a Masters degree in Social Work. Heidi works as the Director of Klamath County Developmental Disabilities Services, where she works alongside a team of 40 people who support individuals who experience intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Heidi also provides therapeutic services in our community as a team member of Squibb Counseling Services.

A committed volunteer, Heidi serves on several local boards in addition to the Women’s Scholarship Foundation of Klamath County, including Friends of the Children and SMART Reading. In her spare time, Heidi enjoys traveling with her husband of almost 16 years, Stephen, spoiling their pets, tending to their backyard chickens and garden, and crafting.
