My first experience with the Miss Klamath County program was back in 2005 when I placed 2nd runner-up in the local Teen competition, then returned the next year and won the title of Klamath County's Outstanding Teen 2007. I competed at Miss Oregon twice, once as KCOT 2007, and again as an at-large contestant under the title of Linkville's Outstanding Teen.

In 2009, I started at Oregon Institute of Technology in pursuit of a business degree with the scholarships I won, but ultimately gained a vocational degree in cosmetology and ran my own correlated business from there. After aging out of the program, I stayed involved for years as a mock interviewer, an emcee, a judge, and for the last three years as a Board member. Giving back and promoting the positive legacy of Miss America as a whole after my own experience in this program was a natural, and easy next step. I'm honored to be able to support the young women representing our region, now alongside this Board, in such an impactful way, too.

Additionally I’m a military wife, married to my husband of almost 14 years, and a stay-at-home/homeschooling mom to our 8-year-old daughter Aurora. In my free time, I also serve on the Central Oregon Disability Support Network (CODSN) Board of Directors, love to read and travel, and also have a passion for writing—something I enjoy utilizing in my own advocacy work, as well as in the book I hope to publish in the near future. I adore all things fashion and interior design-related, especially historic homes and tiny living, as we, ourselves, live in a nearly 700 sq.ft. 1940s log cabin with tons of charm!
