Hello friends, my name is Tracey Struble and I'm honored to be a board member for the Miss Klamath County-Miss City of Sunshine Scholarship Foundation. I've been married to the love of my life for 34 years, and together we have three grown children, two beautiful daughters-in-law, and two precious grandchildren, Clancy and Hallie Ann! We own and operate a cattle and hay ranch just outside of Dorris, CA. Our ranch borders the Tulelake National Wildlife Refuge and we love being surrounded by livestock, green grass, and our family. (But not mosquitos!)
I first became involved in the MKC-MCOS program in 2016 as a hostess. The contestant I was assigned to was Miranda Frey. She was a young OIT student who was shy, very sweet and kind, and a little unsure of herself and the program. When she was crowned Miss Klamath County, the pride and the glow she had is something I will never forget! I had no idea how powerful this "pageant" program could be. Watching young women come to the first practice unsure of themselves and watching them bloom into confident and powerful women is very emotional. My platform in life has been to be an encourager-especially to women. Finding our self-worth is so powerful, and our Miss America Scholarship Foundation does just that.
I'm passionate about God, my husband, our children and grandchildren, and I do my best to love others. I am a gypsy by birth and definitely have a traveling vagabond inside of me. I love palm trees and a warm ocean breeze, a good strong cup of coffee shared with friends, and spending time with my husband (aka my boyfriend). Something most people don't know about me is that I can carry on a conversation by spelling my words. (I know-now everyone knows, and will t*e*s*t me!)
